About
This website came into existence due to my undergraduate project taking place at King’s College London. In my Computer Science degree, we had a range of options to select for our projects, and the one I selected was along the lines of ‘Introducing Decolonial, Feminist or Culturally Relevant education into Computer Science’.
I was drawn to this project, particularly because I have felt frustration myself as a computer science student about the lack of social impact / ramifications discussed within the field. To put it simply, many people do not know about, have access to, or care about resources to educate them about computer sciences’ accurate history.
I have made this website as a resource for those to begin their learning – not just about Computer Science, but about decoloniality as a whole. There are ambitions to develop this website further to host more resources and adding entirely new functionality. This may take some time, but all good things do 🙂
Thank you for taking your time to read this. Your support is invaluable.
